01. GENERAL INFORMATION
Where:
You will find us in the 1st basement of the Mona shopping center (right next to the Olympia- Einkaufszentrum shopping center), Pelkovenstraße 145, 80992 Munich
How to find us:
We recommend traveling by public transport. From the subway station Olympia - Einkaufszentrum there is a direct access to the 1st basement of the MONA shopping center to our museum.
Subway:
Lines U1, U3, U7 (e.g. 15 min from Marienplatz with the U3; 10 min from Hauptbahnhof with the U1/U7).
S-Bahn:
S1 Moosach station - change to the U3 - only two stops to Olympia-Einkaufszentrum

Car:
Parking garage in the MONA shopping center, Pelkovenstraße 143/147, 80992 Munich, or cheaper in the south parking garage of the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum, Pelkovenstraße 152, 80992 Munich, approx. 200m away; free parking in the surrounding area.
Parking:
There is free parking in the surrounding streets as well as a parking garage directly in the MONA shopping center, Pelkovenstraße 143/147, 80992 Munich. Cheaper parking spaces are available in the parking garage south of the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum, Pelkovenstraße 152, 80992 Munich, approx. 200m away.
Opening hours*:
Mon/Wed/Thu: 11-19:00; Fri/Sat: 10-20:00; Sun: 10-19.00
Tuesday closed; longer opening hours during the Bavarian school vacations.
* Also on public holidays (except 24.12., 25.12., New Years Day, Holy Friday)
Children's birthdays can be celebrated with us from the age of 9. Available dates can be booked directly in our online ticket store. There you will also find further information on rooms and prices. For other events, please contact us directly at events@magicbavaria.de.
Is there a checkroom?
We have lockers free of charge.
Accessibility?
Access to the adventure museum and the toilets in the MONA shopping center are barrier-free, although a few installations are not wheelchair-accessible.
02. TICKETS
Where can I get tickets?
You can get tickets online in our ticket store (link) or on site*.
*Attention: When buying tickets on site, there is no guarantee of admission if the desired time slot is sold out and the maximum number of visitors has been reached.
From what age children have to pay?
Kids under 4 years are free. During our family times (daily until 2 p.m. except Saturdays and during vacations), up to three of your own children up to the age of 5 have free admission.
Do I have to print the tickets?
No. You are welcome to show your ticket digitally. We only need the QR code.
Can I book tickets for groups?
Yes, groups are very welcome. Groups of up to 15 people can be booked directly online. For larger groups, you can contact us by phone or email at info@magicbavaria.com.
I can't find my ticket or haven't received an email. What do I do now?
That's not a problem! Please check your spam folder first. If it is not there either, we will check our system and assign you to your ID.
How can I redeem vouchers?
Our online vouchers contain a voucher code that you can redeem when purchasing online tickets during the payment process (after the "Proceed to checkout" step).
Cancellation
Unfortunately, tickets cannot be cancelled. However, you can transfer your tickets to someone else free of charge.
When do I have to be on site?
To avoid crowds, please arrive punctually at the agreed time. You are also welcome to arrive 5 minutes before the start of your slot.
What happens if I am late?
To fully enjoy the experience and avoid long queues, we recommend arriving on time. We can still let you in up to 30 minutes late.
What age is the museum suitable for? Is there a minimum age limit?
Recommended from the age of 8; people under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
03. MISCELLANEOUS
What age is Magic Bavaria suitable for?
We recommend that children should be at least 10 years old in order to make the most of the installations. We also ask parents of younger children to keep an eye on our exhibits so that many more visitors can enjoy them.
Crowdfunding:
The vouchers for the Startnext crowdfunding campaign were sent out in mid-December. If you have not received the voucher or it has ended up in spam, you are welcome to contact us at info@magicbavaria.com. If you have purchased a voucher for an admission ticket, you are also welcome to drop by during our opening hours - we have a list with all the names.
Exclusive hire?
You are very welcome to hire our museum exclusively for a party or shoot! Write us an e-mail and let us know your preferred date, the number of people and the time. Send your enquiry to: info@magicbavaria.com
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately no, for hygienic reasons.
Can I take photos or videos?
Of course - feel free to link us on Instagram to be featured! We have a photo box at four installations and our staff are also happy to assist with photography. Nevertheless, we recommend that there are at least two of you when you visit so that you can get creative together and take photos of each other.
How long does the visit take?
We recommend that you plan 60 - 90 minutes for your visit.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there are toilets in the entrance area. There are also barrier-free toilets in the MONA shopping centre.
Are the rooms air-conditioned?
We do have air conditioning, but we are not usually exposed to warm temperatures in the basement.
Are food and drinks available on site?
We offer drinks and snacks in our café.

Is there a discount for people with disabilities? Severely disabled persons only pay the reduced price.
Registered accompanying persons have free admission.
